The mission of MCRC is to promote the shooting sports. To do that, we provide a safe, convenient, fun place to shoot, with lots of organized activities. We also provide an opportunity for people to get safely involved with shooting. These opportunities include twelve different shooting sports, a Junior shooting program, CWP training, and other firearms training classes. We are also part of the Civilian Marksmanship Program, a government program that subsidizes rifle sales, as well as parts and ammunition to interested civilians.
MCRC is a volunteer, non-profit, organization. We depend on our members to help do the things that need doing. In volunteering and belonging to a gun-rights organization, we want our members to look past their own needs and to consider other’s needs as well. We belong to a community that some would like to get rid of. To preserve that community, and our way of life, we all need to pull together and help one another.
There are currently thirteen (13) regularly scheduled matches held each month. Please contact the individual match directors if you would like some additional information about any of these disciplines. In addition to these regular activities, we also have special events, such as Ladies Only events, and Open House days.
